Good Afternoon,
Softball Manitoba’s Board and Staff, along with Sport Manitoba and Softball Canada are currently working on a Return To Play document required by the government to attain clearance on playing our game this summer. This will be finalized and submitted to the Manitoba Health Authority (May 15 by Sport MB) in an effort to be considered a safe enough sport to resume play (when and with what restrictions are our first questions for them). We then meet as a Board on May 21 and will have an updated announcement on our website and sent out to all of the Leagues and ‘A’ Organization Presidents on May 22.
Please share this information with your teams and/or all who ask. Keep in mind that players and coaches are currently not insured. This will continue on until the Government provides us with approval for our competition season to open.

We are doing all we can for our membership in hopes of offering a competition season in 2020.
