Softball Canada and Softball Manitoba are pleased to announce a Youth Development Program called Learn to Play. All Schools, Minor Softball Associations, coaches and Youth Organizations are welcome to contact us to learn more about this new and exciting program. What is Learn To Play ?
Players will want to come back for more non-stop Fun and Action!!
Learn to Play is made up of two age appropriate levels. Each level takes into account the characteristics of children (both mentally and physically) to ensure that each child has fun, experiences success and is gradually introduced to a competitive environment.
Each level is designed to be delivered over a 8 week period with two sessions per week.
Level | Ages | Session Length | Description |
LTP1 | 4 to 7 | 60 mins. | One hour per session made up entirely of the prepared lesson plans. |
U9 | 8 & 9 | 90 mins. | 45 minutes practice followed by a 45 minute modified game. |
